Every customer is furnished with a hardcopy of their filed income tax return(s) at the end of their appointment. This is true for all kind of returns; whether they are Federal, State or Corporate returns; we are bound by federal regulations to provide these documents to our clients.
Having said that, we understand that many customers during the year may lose or misplace these important documents and or records. The good news about this unfortunate, desperate and inconvenient problem is that there is a shed of light at the end of the tunnel. We will be glad to provide you with an additional copy of your lost records.
However, there is a small $25.00 fee per copy per year and few easy steps to follow. No exception to this procedure will be allowed. Under no circumstance we will fax or email any personal information to our customers. In cases where the customer chooses to pick up a copy in person at our office, be aware that No document will be release to any other person but to those individual to whom the documents belong too; in this case the individual taxpayers.
These are the easy steps you need to follow in order to obtain an additional copy. 1- Go to www.1040its.com click on make an appointment. 2- Read and accept the terms if you agreed of course. 3- Either register or login. 4- Click the ?MAKE APPOINTMENT for Where ?r? my copies? button. 5- You will see that the ONLY day available is Sunday from 10:00 AM until 06:00 PM 6- Choose any available hours, this does not matter, pick any, we are not meeting. 7- Please finish your appointment process by making sure you click on the make appointment button.
If you do not see the make appointment click button, please scroll down your window and you will see
the click button. Click on it an then you will be done with this part.
8- Go back to www.1040its.com and click on Client Portal Tab at the top of the page.
9- Either login or register. This is a different registration. IS NOT the same that you used for making
appointments.
10- Once you register you will need to wait for verification. This may take some time depending on my
schedule. Please call me @ 305-710-1176 to find out if we can expedite your request faster.
11- Once verified you need to email us a request to: my_copies@1040its.com asking for your income tax file. You must identify yourself with information I know about you. Also be clear and specific about what tax year documents you want.
12- Once I receive the payment and email request it will take from 24 to 48 hrs for me to scan and up-load
your requested documents. You will receive an email that your document file(s) is(are) ready for download.

2- Note: I will try my best to help you retrieving your new return copies, but please understand that we all have different schedules, plans and priorities to deal with. We will appreciate your understanding and support of this new policy.This new policy is aimed solely to comply with the law and to protect your personal information.
3- Remember, we need to comply with Federal Law regarding your privacy an I WILL NOT under any circumstances deviate or make any exceptions to this policy.
4- Note: You can also make a regular 1 hour appointment and see me personally, but it will cost you my hourly fee of $75.00
